INDIANAPOLIS/NEW ORLEANS – USF Cross Country runner, Khot Juac, has advanced to the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships held at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, WA. The meet will start at 1:15pm Central time on December 2nd and a live web stream of the championships will occur on www.NCAA.com from 12:00 p.m. Central time until the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
In order to be eligible to participate in the championships, teams and individuals must qualify in their respective NCAA regional competitions. Thirty-four teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top three, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the eight regions, for a total of 24 teams. Ten additional teams were selected at-large and a minimum of 24 additional individuals were selected to participate in each championship through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process.
Juac was also named to the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country All-Region team announced earlier today as just one of 16 NSIC female runners.
Last weekend, Juac placed 17th in the 6K at the NCAA Central Region Championships with a career best time of 21:10.84.
