SIOUX FALLS – The USF Women's Basketball team fell to #24 Augustana today, 52-87, at the Sanford Pentagon moving to 3-6 on the season.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Sioux Falls fell behind early as they gave up 23 points in the first quarter and 24 in the second, but only picked up 27 of their own during the first half.
- The Cougars forced the Vikings to 14 turnovers throughout tonight's match-up while picking up 14 points off of Augie turnovers.
- USF only turned the ball over eight times on the evening and outrebounded AU on the offensive side of the ball, 8-7.

- Sioux Falls shot 33.3% from the field tonight while shooting 17.4% from three point territory and 60% from the line.
- The Cougars put up 22 point in the paint and capitalized on seven second chance opportunities.
UP NEXT
Sioux Falls (3-6) will hit the road to take on Upper Iowa and Winona State next weekend. The Cougars will take on the Peacocks on Friday at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Warriors on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
