BURNSVILLE – The NSIC announced their weekly Player of the Week selections today with USF Basketball standout Matt Cartwright receiving the South Division honor.
Cartwright averaged 21.5 points this weekend as the Coo took on (RV) Wayne State and Augustana going 2-0 on the weekend. He put up his eighth 20-point game on the year and his 20th of his career totaling 43 points on the weekend. Cartwright averaged 4.5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.5 assists against WSU and AU. He currently sits 3rd in the NSIC and 7th in NCAA DII in scoring with 193 points on the year.
Sioux Falls (7-2) will hit the road to take on Upper Iowa and Winona State next weekend. The Cougars will take on the Peacocks on Friday at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Warriors on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
