Colorado Springs, CO - The University of Sioux Falls Swimming team has been selected as a Scholar All-America Team for the fifth consecutive year by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
Teams selected for the honor must have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or above during the 2022 spring semester. This year, 731 teams from 441 institutions were selected with 17,845 student-athletes represented. Those with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will now become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
The Cougars made the list with a 3.58 GPA which was second highest this year for NSIC teams, Minnesota State edged USF by .01 with their 3.59 GPA. The other NSIC women's teams honored were SMSU, St. Cloud State, Northern State, Minnesota State Moorhead, Concordia St. Paul and Augustana. USF significantly improved on their 3.21 GPA from last spring which had earned them their fourth straight honor.
