SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Fall's Thuro Reisdorfer has been named the NSIC South Division Offensive Player of the Year, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced today.
Reisdorfer, a graduate student from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was also named to the NSIC Watch List with teammate Amaurii Grosskopf. The 6-foot-1 running back was a first team All-NSIC honoree and Don Hansen All-American selection in 2021, as he led the NSIC in rushing with 111.5 yards per game.
"Thuro returns as the NSIC's leading rusher from 2021. An All-NSIC performer and team captain from right here in Sioux Falls," Coach Jon Anderson stated. "Thuro has had an outstanding off-season preparing for his final college season. Already a college graduate, Thuro will be completing his MBA this year. He is an outstanding person and leader who we expect big things from this season."
At this point in his career Residorfer has amassed 2,366 yards on 365 carries which places him 10th in the USF record books for rushing yards. He also ended the 2021 season at 23rd in DII standings for rushing yards with 1,114 and 31st for rushing touchdowns with 10.
