MINOT – The University of Sioux Falls women's basketball team dropped their first game of the weekend to Minot State and fall to 4-11 on the season.
WHAT HAPPENED
· The Cougars struggled to get their offense going as they fell to the Beavers, 64-38.
· Sioux Falls found success at the free throw line going 5-5 on the night led by Olivia Gamoke and Madison Wuebben.
SIOUX FALLS LEADERS
· Olivia Gamoke and Brecli Honner led the Cougars with a combined 26 points on the evening.
· Madison Wuebben pulled down six of USFs 26 rebounds followed by Lizzie Olson and Dallie Hoskinson, each with four.
TEAM STATISTICS
· Sioux Falls went 15-47 from the field this evening while going 5-5 from the free throw line.
· The Cougars pulled down 26 rebounds on the night with 22 coming from the defensive side of the ball.
UP NEXT
The Cougars continue their road series tomorrow afternoon as they take on the UMary Marauders. The women's game will tip off at 3:30pm followed by the men's game at 5:30pm.
