SIOUX FALLS – The University of Sioux Falls and head coach Jim Glogowski are proud to announce the hiring of Ryan Springer as the next offensive line coach of Cougar Football.
"We are excited to have Ryan and his fiancée Meighan join our Cougar Family," said Coach Glogowski. "He comes highly recommended and I can't wait to see him develop our group up front."
Springer joins the Cougars following a three year stint at Carroll College, an NAIA in Helena, Montana. During his time there he served as the offensive line and tight ends coach as well as their strength and conditioning coach. Springer coached three All-Americas along with nine all-conference athletes. He helped lead the Fighting Saints to two Frontier Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022.
Prior to Carroll, Springer worked under USF native and head coach Chuck Morrell at Montana Tech where he served as the offensive line coach for the Orediggers. Springer also served as the offensive line coach at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon from 2015 to 2016 and again from 2017 to 2018. To fill the gap, Springer served as an offensive line graduate assistant at Fresno State University before returning to the Bearcats.
Springer received his bachelors in exercise science from Willamette University. During his time, he served as a team captain while also being named a two-time all-conference offensive lineman. In 2018, he received his master's in education curriculum and instruction from Fresno State University.
