Sioux Falls, S.D. – The NSIC has announced their All-Conference selections for Volleyball. Jordan Kuper of USF was named to the NSIC All-Conference 1st Team and Sadie Voss was named to the 2nd team.
The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team is currently sitting tied for 8th with Minnesota State. The top 8 of the conference make the conference tournament with the top 4 seeds hosting the first round.
Jordan Kuper has had an outstanding season in the middle for USF Volleyball. With 2 regular season matches left to play she has 257 kills which is more than she has had in any previous season. She is averaging 2.89 kills per set with a .352 attacking percentage. Kuper has brought her usual dominance at the net with 30 blocks this year combined with another 63 block assists. She has also stepped up her defense by tallying 62 digs with 0.7 digs per set so far which is a jump from her total last year of 49. Jordan has also set a career best in points this season with 337.5 points so far this year and is averaging 3.79 points per set. She had career highs in a few categories this season highlighted by totaling 21 kills and 25.5 points vs. Augustana.
Sadie Voss has built on her campaign last year that saw her win NSIC Freshman of the Year. She has increased in almost every offensive stat including 325 kills on the season so far when she had 275 last year. Sadie has a 3.61 kills per set and is hitting .254 on 819 attack attempts. Voss has 244 digs on the season with a 2.71 digs per set. Voss stepped up her blocking this year as well totaling 8 solo blocks and 30 assisted blocks. She has 38 total blocks with .42 blocks per set. Sadie has been a focal point for USF Volleyball this year as she has totaled 361 points on 4.01 points/set so far this year. She had career highs in many categories this season highlighted by a 22 kill performance against Rockhurst and a 25 dig night against Augustana.
Catch these two standouts as well as the rest of the USF Volleyball team this weekend. They have their final two matches of the regular season and they are both at home. #2 CSP comes to town on Friday night starting at 6:00PM at the Stewart Center. Then on Saturday Coo Volleyball hosts Winona State on Senior Day staring at 2:00PM.
