MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA – The USF Cross Country team competed at the 2024 NSIC Championships today with one runner taking home first team honors and 3 taking second team honors.
Micade Shumway highlighted both USF squads as he finished in 10
th place and earned First-Team All-Conference honors with a time of 24:16.6. Right behind him was
Ben Morrison in 11
th place in a time of 24:22.1 earning himself Second-Team All-Conference honors. The Men's team saw 9 of 10 runners post lifetime personal records as they finished in 5
th place with 138 points.
On the Women's side,
Morgan Gehl and
Maddie Swanson topped the squad with finishes of 17
th and 19
th place, respectively. Gehl crossed at 21:48.1 while Swanson finished in 21:48.9. Both runners earned Second-Team All-Conference honors as the team scored 190 points to finish in 6
th place.
