BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Following a dominant three-match stretch, senior outside hitter Sadie Voss has been named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier today.
Voss, a Lakefield, Minnesota native, powered Sioux Falls Volleyball to a perfect 3-0 week, highlighted by a statement, 3-1, road win over No. 17 Southwest Minnesota State and back-to-back sweeps of MSU Moorhead and Minnesota Crookston.
Across the week, Voss tallied 39 kills (3.9 per set) while hitting an impressive .410, the second-best mark in the NSIC. She recorded a USF school record with 18 kills in a three-set match during the sweep of MSU Moorhead and followed with a season-high .600 attack percentage against Minnesota Crookston.
Equally effective on both sides of the net, Voss also led the Cougars defensively with 45 digs and added three solo blocks, finishing the week tied for fourth in the NSIC with 4.40 points per set.
This marks Voss's first NSIC weekly honor of the season and adds to her standout senior campaign as one of the league's most balanced and dynamic attackers.
