BURNSVILLE, MINN. – After a standout weekend, Creighton Morisch has been named to the NSIC Shining 5, recognizing his stellar performances against Wayne State and Southwest Minnesota State. For the full list of NSIC Shining 5, head over to the 2024-25 NSIC Men's Basketball Weekly Release No. 12.

Morisch was a force on both ends of the floor, averaging 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting an impressive 65.2% from the field. His efficiency and impact played a key role in the Cougars' competitive weekend.
Against Wayne State, Morisch posted a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double, showcasing his ability to dominate the glass and score efficiently. He shot 8-of-12 from the field and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw line, proving to be a reliable scoring option throughout the contest.
He followed that up with another 20-point performance against Southwest Minnesota State, continuing his hot streak. Morisch knocked down 7-of-11 shots, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc, while securing nine rebounds to round out another stellar outing.
With his strong all-around play, Morisch has continued to be a major contributor for the Cougars, cementing his place among the top performers in the NSIC. His ability to impact games at a high level will be key as USF looks ahead to the next stretch of conference play.
