HAYS, KAN. – The University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team faced challenging conditions at the FHSU Tiger Classic, competing against a strong field at Smoky Hill Country Club. The par-70 course, playing at 6,150 yards, tested the Cougars over three rounds as they posted team scores of 305 (+25), 306 (+26), and 312 (+32) for a total of 923 strokes (+83). 

Tournament Recap 

Battling windy conditions throughout the tournament, USF saw flashes of strong individual performances, including a standout showing from Mason Weeks, who finished tied for 15th at +7 overall. Weeks posted a second-round 68 (-2), one of the best individual rounds of the tournament, while also collecting nine birdies and an eagle across three rounds.

Key Coo 

Mason Weeks led the way for the Cougars with a strong all-around performance, finishing tied for 15th at 217 (+7). His best round came in the second round, where he fired a 68 (-2), capping off his tournament with nine birdies and an eagle.
