SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Competing at the Elmwood Golf Course, the University of Sioux Falls Men's Golf team turned in a solid performance at the Augustana Spring Invitational, held April 7–8. The Cougars' A Team finished tied for sixth with a team total of 608 (+32), while the B Team placed 10th at 660 (+84) in the 10-team field.
Tournament Recap
On the par-72 Elmwood layout, the A Team posted rounds of 305 and 303 to secure their share of sixth place. The B Team turned in rounds of 331 and 329 in a valuable two-day test of consistency.
Jimmy Clark paced the Cougars with a pair of 74s to finish tied for ninth at 148 (+4), while Mason Weeks and Devon Verhasselt also notched top-20 finishes. The event served as the final tune-up before USF heads to the NSIC Championships next week.

Jimmy Clark led the Cougars individually, finishing tied for ninth at 148 (+4) after consistent rounds of 74–74. He tallied five birdies across the tournament. Teammate Mason Weeks followed closely, tying for 13th at 150 (+6), including a second-round 74. Devon Verhasselt rounded out the top-20 trio with a 151 (+7), highlighted by a 73 on day two.

The Cougars will now turn their attention to the NSIC Championships, set for April 17–19 at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri. USF previously played this course in the NSIC Preview earlier this spring and will look to use that experience to their advantage.
