BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team bounced back in NSIC play with a 3-1 victory over Bemidji State (25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 25-22) on this afternoon inside BSU Gymnasium. With the win, the Cougars improve to 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the NSIC, while the Beavers fall to 3-7 and 0-2 in conference action.

USF opened strong with a .483 hitting percentage in the first set and closed the match with a balanced offensive attack. Overall, the Cougars hit .296 with 52 kills, 11 aces, and 54 digs as a team.
Key Performers

Ella Walker powered the attack with 12 kills on just 19 swings, hitting .579 while adding four total blocks.

Sadie Voss matched Walker with 12 kills, a .333 hitting percentage, and chipped in 10 digs and two service aces for a double-double effort.

Elise Gillen directed the offense with 23 assists and nine digs, while Hollie Peterson added 17 assists.

From the service line, Faith Van Eck and Gretchen Volk each tallied three aces, fueling USF's momentum throughout the match.

Defensively, Volk also paced the Cougars with 13 digs.
Sioux Falls controlled the opening set before Bemidji State answered in the second, evening the match at 1-1. The Cougars regrouped, holding off late Beaver rallies in sets three and four to seal the road win.
