SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team continued its strong start to conference play with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Minnesota Crookston (25-16, 25-10, 25-17) tonight inside the Stewart Center. With the win, the Cougars improve to 8-4 overall and 3-1 in the NSIC, while the Golden Eagles drop to 6-6 and 0-4 in league action.
Match Summary
The Cougars controlled the match from start to finish, hitting an impressive .452 as a team while holding UMC to just .093. USF committed only seven attack errors across three sets and finished with 45 kills, 38 assists, and 35 digs.
After a competitive opening frame, USF broke away behind a .609 hitting percentage in set two, their best efficiency of the season, before closing the match with a balanced effort in set three.

Sadie Voss tallied 9 kills, 9 digs, and 1 block for an all-around performance.

Aubrey Gates was highly efficient with 9 kills on a .643 attack and a block.

Ella Walker contributed 6 kills on .857 hitting along with a block.

Tatum Godinez added 6 kills and 5 total blocks, while Haley Wolfe posted 5 kills and 4 block assists.

Courtney Holsteen chipped in 4 kills on .571 hitting, and Molly Minnema added 4 kills and 2 block assists.

Setters Elise Gillen (18 assists, 5 digs, 1 ace) and Hollie Peterson (18 assists, 8 digs, 2 aces) guided the offense evenly throughout the match.
The Cougars also had 9 total team blocks and 3 service aces, keeping Crookston's offense off balance throughout the evening.
