SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Volleyball team continued its strong conference run with a straight-set victory over MSU Moorhead (25-20, 25-17, 25-20) this afternoon inside the Stewart Center. With the win, the Cougars improved to 9-4 on the season and 4-1 in the NSIC, while the Dragons fell to 8-5 and 2-3 in the league.
The match also marked a significant career milestone as senior standout Sadie Voss recorded her 1,100th career kill, cementing her place among USF's all-time offensive leaders. Voss finished the day with 9 kills, 16 digs, 3 service aces, and a block assist for another all-around performance.
Match Summary
USF set the tone early, pulling away late in the first set with strong blocking at the net and timely kills from Ella Walker and Aubrey Gates. The Cougars rode that momentum into set two, where they hit a blistering .484 and racked up three service aces to take full control. In the third frame, the Cougars answered every MSU Moorhead push, closing out the sweep behind a balanced offensive attack and steady back-row defense.

As a team, Sioux Falls hit .343 with 50 kills while holding the Dragons to just .121 hitting. The Cougars also tallied 11 total blocks and 7 service aces in the sweep.

The Cougars hit the road next weekend for a pair of NSIC matchups, traveling to (RV) Minnesota State on Friday at 6pm before facing #15 St. Cloud State on Saturday at 2pm.
