SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — University of Sioux Falls guard Brogan Madson has been named Player of the Week after delivering a blistering two-game performance that sent the Cougars soaring past both Southwest Minnesota State and Briar Cliff.

Madson was absolutely electric across the back-to-back victories, pouring in 22.0 points per game while orchestrating the offense with 3.5 assists and playing a rock-solid 32.0 minutes each night. His efficiency and clutch play proved to be the difference-maker as USF seized early conference momentum.

The Mankato, Minnesota native kicked off the week with a statement performance at Southwest Minnesota State, dropping 23 points while relentlessly attacking the rim and showing ice in his veins at the charity stripe. Madson was a menace on both ends, racking up four steals in the road victory and draining 6-of-7 (.857) from the free-throw line—coming up clutch every time the Mustangs threatened.

He followed up with another commanding showing back home against Briar Cliff, lighting up the scoreboard for 21 points on a scorching 8-of-14 (.571) from the field. Once again, Madson was money from the line, going a perfect 4-for-4 while controlling the game's rhythm and delivering dagger after dagger down the stretch.

Over the two-game tear, Madson racked up 44 points, seven assists, and four steals while shooting 46.2 percent from the field (16-of-35) and an impressive 10-of-11 from the free-throw line. His ability to score from anywhere on the floor—and lead with unwavering confidence—was instrumental in USF's winning streak.

Head coach Chris Johnson praised Madson's continued development and impact on the team.

"Brogan has continued to keep getting better and better as the season has gone on," Johnson said. "He plays so hard and makes everyone around him better. Really proud of how he's been playing. He earned this award."

Madson's Player of the Week honor is a testament not just to his explosive scoring, but to his poise under pressure, efficiency when it matters most, and the leadership that's fueling the Cougars' surge as they hit their stride in conference play.
