SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Men's Wrestling team closed senior night with a highlight performance at heavyweight, as Stetson Davis earned a decisive win over No. 18 Cooper Caraway of No. 3 Wisconsin Parkside Rangers. While Parkside controlled the team score throughout the lineup, Davis' victory provided a strong finish for the Cougars against a nationally ranked opponent.
Wisconsin-Parkside built momentum early, capitalizing on bonus-point wins across the lower and middle weights to pull away on the scoreboard. The Rangers picked up pins in three consecutive bouts from 125 through 149 pounds and added key decisions and major decisions in the upper middle weights to extend their lead.
USF battled through the lineup and finished the dual on a high note at heavyweight. Davis delivered a composed and physical performance against the 18th-ranked Caraway, controlling the match from the opening whistle and earning a 7-1 decision. The win marked a statement result for Davis and capped the dual with a signature moment for the Cougars.
