SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls Men's Wrestling team pushed Minnesota State Moorhead to the wire on Saturday afternoon inside the Stewart Center, but the Dragons edged the Cougars 20–17 in a dual that came down to the final bout. USF showed resilience throughout the lineup, highlighted by a momentum-swinging pin late in the match and a notable win from a wrestler competing up two weight classes.

Sioux Falls vs. Minnesota State Moorhead

The dual opened with back-and-forth results in the lower weights, as Vincent Mayberry got the Cougars started with a solid decision at 125 pounds. Moorhead responded with narrow decision wins at 133, 141, 149, and 157, slowly building an early advantage despite several tightly contested bouts.

USF surged back in the middle and upper weights. Luke Swanson delivered a dominant technical fall at 165 to cut into the deficit, and Lincoln Fink followed with a composed decision at 184 while wrestling up two weight classes, an effort that proved pivotal in keeping the Cougars within striking distance. The Stewart Center erupted at 197 pounds when True Tobiasson needed just 48 seconds to secure a fall, pulling USF even at 17–17 heading into the heavyweight bout. Moorhead ultimately sealed the dual with a narrow decision at 285, but the Cougars' late push showcased their ability to respond under pressure.
