After two days of competition, the NSIC Multi Event Championships wrapped up in Aberdeen, S.D. on Monday night and the Cougars came away with two solid performances.

Katlyn Sawtelle got the Cougars off to a good start in the 2014 Outdoor Championships as she finished second overall in the Heptathlon with her score of 4664. Sawtelle currently holds the 15th best mark in Division II this season with her score of 4865 at the ESU Combined Events earlier this season. 

Seth Lewis just missed out on scoring for the Cougars in the Decathlon as he came in ninth overall with his score of 4373. 

The Heptathlon and the Decathlon are scored as individual events and will be counted towards the 2014 NSIC Outdoor Championships held in Winona, Minn. on May 9-10.
