WAYNE – The Sioux Falls Cross Country teams competed in the NSIC Championships today when the men's team collected a 3rd place finish and the women's a 6th place finish.
"It was a good day for the Coo," said head coach Doug Petersen. "We had some good runs for the men to place third with Ecker, Shumway and Rivera earning All-Conference Honors."
The Men's team picked up 94 points in the 8K and placed 3rd out of 14 teams and 127 runners. USF ran an average time of 25:49.25 with a total team time of 2:09:06.24.

"Our women's team ran well to place 6th against four nationally ranked teams," said Coach Petersen. "Juac picked up All-Conference honors, but overall I'm very proud of what this team is accomplishing."

The Women's team picked up 146 points in the 6K and landed in 6th place out of 16 teams and 141 runners. USF ran an average time of 23:32.46 with a total team time of 1:57:42.29.
