MANKATO – The USF Track & Field team traveled to Mankato, MN this afternoon to compete in Day 1 of the Mark Schuck Open & Multi.
TRACK EVENTS
· Emily Swanson took 1st in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:05.45 while Sierra Stanton took 2nd with a time of 1:10.00.Â
· Also taking 1st was Cody Lustig in the men's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.91. Ben Mandel took 3rd with a time of 56.29 and Collin Dingsor placed 5th with a time of 58.02.
· Karlee Simmons finished 7th in the women's 3000 meter run with a time of 11:01.86. Josephine Boyd was close behind in 9th with a time of 11:07.65.Â
· Miles Olofson placed 8th in the men's 3000 meter race with a time of 9:08.98.
· The Cougar women's distance medley team (Juac, Kenkel, O'Meara, and Gehl) took 1st with a time of 12:03.70, setting a new school record and currently leading all of DII.
· The USF men (Rivera, Decker, Matzner, and Ecker) took 2nd in the distance medley with a time of 10:17.49.
FIELD EVENTS
·    McKenna Comstock placed 10th in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.08 meters.Â
