USF Closes Regular Season with Wins, PRs, and DII Marks

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls track & field teams wrapped up their final regular season competition with a collection of event wins, personal bests, and nationally ranked performances, setting the stage for the upcoming NSIC Outdoor Championships.

The Cougars were led by Brandon Stark, Chloe Aanenson, Piper Hanson, and Lyndi Koosman. Stark delivered one of the top performances of the meet with a runner-up finish in the 400 meters, posting a personal-best time that moved him onto the Division II national list. Aanenson added an event title in the women's 1500 meters, while Hanson and Faulk turned in strong efforts in the hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. In the field events, Koosman highlighted the day with a nationally ranked mark in the triple jump.


Key Performances

Brandon Stark headlined the men's track events with a second-place finish in the 400 meters, clocking a personal-best 47.67 that ranks No. 91 in Division II this season. On the women's side, Chloe Aanenson captured the 1500-meter title with a personal-best 4:49.32, continuing a strong stretch in the distance events.

The hurdle group saw solid contributions from Tierney Faulk and Piper Hanson. Faulk recorded a personal best in the 100-meter hurdles prelims before placing ninth in the final, while Hanson added a runner-up finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:04.91. Faulk followed closely with a season-best effort in third.

In the field events, Lyndi Koosman and Kendra King produced two of the top marks in the women's triple jump, both landing inside the national top 100. Cadence Nuttbrock added points across multiple events, including a season-best clearance in the high jump and a top-eight finish in the long jump. On the men's side, Eshon Freeman placed second in the triple jump, while Hessel Andringa contributed a personal best in the 400-meter hurdles and added a top-10 finish in the long jump.
