Joplin, MO – Women's Cross Country set a program best with their 8
th place finish at Regionals while the Men's team took 17
th.
Khot Juac placed second and earned a spot at Nationals.
For the second year in a row
Khot Juac led the Cougars at the Regional meet as she placed 2
nd. Last year Juac made history by being the first woman from the USF Cross Country program to compete at Nationals. Her 2
nd place finish today granted her back-to-back appearances at Nationals. She'll head back to Joplin in two weeks for the NCAA Championships.
The Women's team took 8
th behind Khot's performance, the highest finish ever for the Cougars at the Regional meet, with a score of 268. The Men's team took 17
th with
Ben Morrison leading them in 68
th place and a total 473 points
