NEW ORLEANS, LA - In a release by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association yesterday, USF runner
Khot Juac was named to the All-Region team.
Following the Regional Championships this past weekend the USTFCCAÂ named its All-Region honorees including 200 men from 83 programs and 200 women from 91 programs. All honorees placed in the top-25 at one of the eight regional sites.
Juac placed 2nd at the Central Regional which gave her back-to-back appearances at the National Championships. She will head back to Joplin in just under two weeks for that event. Last year Khot became the first USF Women's Cross Country runner to compete at Nationals and she has now set the bar even higher for future runners.
Behind Juac's performance at Regionals the Coo achieved their highest placement in program history; 8th place.Â
