SIOUX FALLS – The NSIC announced their weekly Athletes of the Week today, with USF Track & Field Athlete Tyler Hiatt receiving field honors.

Hiatt earned this award for his first place finish at the Monday Meet held at USD last Friday where he threw for 17.22 (56-6) meters in the men's shot put. This distance hit the NCAA provisional mark, securing his win by two feet. This throw currently ranks 19th in all of DII. At the Drake Relays Hiatt had two top 20 finishes. He took 13th in the shot put with a throw of 16.54 meters. Hiatt also took 14th in the men's discus with a throw of 49.25 meters.
