BURNSVILLE, MINN. – The University of Sioux Falls Women's Soccer Team was picked to finish 14th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll released earlier today. Minnesota State was picked to win the conference after being crowed the NSIC Regular Season Champions last season.

The Cougars finished last season with six ties and look to bring growth and experience into the 2023 season. "We are really looking forward to the 2023 season," stated Head Coach Brittany Domino. "We saw a lot of growth in our players during the spring season and we are excited to see how that will translate this fall. We have important experience returning for our team on both sides of the ball. Combine that experience with some very exciting incoming freshmen and the determination of this group and we believe we can have a very strong fall."

Sarah Miller was named the USF Offensive Player to Watch following an all-conference performance last season. Last season, Miller was named to the NSIC All-Conference team as well as the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and most recently received the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award. Miller started in 17 matches last season totaling 1,068 minutes while scoring one goal for the Coo.

"Sarah is a really diverse attacking player who is coming off a strong fall and spring season for us," stated Domino. "Last year a lot of our attacking play went directly through Sarah. We are excited to see how her game grows with the new talent around her. She is a player that brings joy to training and allows her teammates around her to bring that out in their game as well."

Caroline Titze was named the Cougars Defensive Player to Watch as she enters her junior season with the Coo. Titze started in nine matches as one of the Cougars top goaltenders in 2022 saving 69 shots and recording a .812 save percentage. Last season, Titze also earned her spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence list as well as earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
