SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - USF Men's Wrestling split on the day with a 33-12 win over Ouachita Baptist and a 33-12 loss to CSU-Pueblo. Pauly Garcia was the lone Cougar to go 2-0 on the day.

Garcia defeated Dominick Castro of CSU-Pueblo and Justin Shaw of Ouachita Baptist at 125-pounds. He picked up a 4-3 decision over Castro in round one followed by a 22-6 tech. fall over Shaw in round two.. Garcia sits at 8-5 on the season.

At 133-pounds, No. 17 Beau Klingensmith fell to Pueblos Brandon Bingler following an injury at the 5:00 mark, but returned to pick up a 1:22 pin in round two over Hayden Flaherty. Klingensmith went 1-1 on the day and is now 11-4 on the season.

Beau Beavers also went 1-1 for the Coo at 141-pounds. Beavers fell to Michael Atencio of CSU-Pueblo in a 4:28 pin before defeating Hudson Herring of Ouachita Baptist in a 18-7 major decision. Beavers is now 3-6 on the season.

Cooper Sanders went 1-1 at 149-pounds with a loss to Anthony Nichols of CSU and a win over Zander Fields of OBU. Sanders fell to Nichols in an 8-5 decision in round one before defeating Fields in a 12-2 major decision in round two. Sanders moves to 6-10.

At 157-pounds, Jagger Tyler moves to 14-6 on the year with a first round victory over Cyruss Meeks before falling to Jaylon Otero in round two. Tyler picked up a 4-2 decision win over Meeks before falling in a 7-3 decision to Otero.

Lincoln Fink competed at 165-pounds for the Coo going 1-1 on the day with a first round 4:55 pin over Elijah Valdez before falling in a 6-4 decision to Samuel Schmidt ove OBU. Fink moves to 7-9 on the season.

At 174-pounds, Ashtin Johnson fell to CSU-Pueblos Tytus Coombs in a 4:03 fall before bouncing back with a 4-1 sudden victory over William Wilson. Johnson is 5-9 on the season.

At 184-pounds, Daevon Vereen fell to Remington Winmill in a 12-11 decision before falling in a 6:54 pin to Parker Henry. Vereen now sits at 9-8 on the.

Isaiah Laguna fell to CSU-Pueblos, No. 15 Ben Gould in a 7-1 decision at 197-pounds. Laguna responded with an 18-3 tech. fall over OBUs Brooks Schrimsher. Laguna now sits at 5-6.

Rocky Wiedman Jr. closed out the day at 285-pounds falling to Josiah Aldinger in a 0:48 pin before finishing they day with a 2:10 pin over RJ Hild of Ouachita Baptist. Wiedman Jr. is 5-7 on the year.
