SIOUX FALLS – The USF Track & Field team sent split squads to Vermillion and Mankato over the weekend.
 
The USD Alumni Meet took place on Friday and Saturday while the Cougars only visited Mankato for the MSU Mark Schuck Open & Multi on Saturday. The Womens team placed 2^nd at MSU with 80 points only behind host MSU. The Men placed 5^th with 59 points.
 
Memorable performances: Tyler Hiatt wins the Weight Throw at USD with a National Provisional toss of 18.45m.
the Men's Shot Put saw 3 Cougars in the top four with Tyler Hiatt (National Provisional mark) winning the event while Andrew Edwards took 2^nd and Chase Snyder landed in 4^th.
Tamia Horton takes runner up in the 60m dash in 7.63 seconds at hits a National Provisional mark.
Denver Decker finishes 3^rd in the 600m run with a time of 1:25.13.
Emma Thomas crosses the finish line at 2:28.27 to take 4^th in the 800 Meter Run.
in the Men's 800 Meter Run Caleb Rivera won the event in 1:53.95 (National Provisional mark and 3^rd all-time at USF while Benjamin Morrison took 3^rd in 1:56.10.
The Women's 1000 Meter Run saw Annika Aho take 2^nd in 2:58.86 (5^th all-time at USF) and Madie Swanson get 4^th in 3:04.53 (8^th all-time at USF).
Khot Juac placed 3^rd in the 1 Mile Run in 5:13.34, Emily Swanson (8.82 – National Provisional mark) took 2^nd in the 60m Hurdles while Kendall Anderson took 3^rd (9.11).

Emily Swanson takes 3^rd in the Long Jump at 5.39m.
Kamry Lindseys 5^th place toss of 7.28m in the Weight Throw was a National Provisional mark and 5^th all-time at USF. Her Shot Put of 13.06m was also the 8^th best in school history.
Marek Rex fired off a 15.93m throw in the Weight Throw and landed himself the 9^th best time in USF history while Dawson Davito claimed the 10^th best at 15.58m.
