MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - USF Men's Wrestling hit the Auggie Invite at Augsburg University coming away with one event champion and six placers.
Isaiah Laguna picked up the 285-pound title with a 5-1 decision over Maximo Ruiz of Stevens in round two following a round one bye. Laguna recorded a 0:40 pin over Tyler Raway of Augsburg followed by a 4-2 decision over Centrals Kyler Hall. Laguna came away with a 1:53 pin over teammate Jesse Garcia.

133 – Bray Skinner finished 2-2 and sits 5-5 on the season
141 – Riley Fitzsimmons finished 1-2 and sits 3-5 on the season

149 – Lane Fink finished 8th at 2-2 and sits 9-4 on the season
149 – Mitch Koss finished 1-2 and sits 4-5 on the season
157 – Lincoln Fink finished 8th at 3-2 and sits 8-4 on the season

285 – Isaiah Laguna finished 1st at 3-0 and sits 9-2 on the season

The Cougars will open dual action next weekend as they head to Fayette, Iowa to take on Upper Iowa at 7pm on Saturday, November 23rd.
