Emily Swanson and
Tierney Faulk competed at the NWMSU Bearcat Open today and left indelible marks on the USF history books.
Swanson, the current owner of the top Women's Pentathlon score in USF history, set the bar even higher with a 3,841 point performance today. Additionally, her new school record ranks 4th in the nation. She also secured three provisional marks on the day with an 8.83 time in the 60m Hurdles, a 1.70m mark in the High Jump, and her record breaking total in the Pantathlon. Swanson rounded out the day with a 5.37m Long Jump and 2:23:33 finish the 800m run.

Faulk put together an impressive day as well with a new personal record at 2796 points. The mark breaks into the USF record books as the 6th best score in history.

The rest of USF Track & Field will have their chance to shine this weekend at the MSU Ted Nelson Classic in Mankato, MN on Saturday.
