NEW ORLEANS – USF Cross Country teams & athletes were named to the USTFCCA Academic Awards list for 2023.
 
After the 2023 Cross Country season the US Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association named its 2023 Academic Award recipients and teams.
 
USF had both teams receive the honor with the Men's team at a 3.462 GPA and the Women's team boasting a 3.625 GPA.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
 
On the individual side, four USF student-athletes received the award: Benjamin Morrison, Annika Aho, Khot Juac, and Maddie Swanson.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
