SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - For the first time in the NCAA Division II era, USF Men's Wrestling will send a wrestler to the 2024 NCAA National Championships.
At 133-pounds, #10 Beau Klingensmith will make his debut on the national stage as a sophomore. The Moville, Iowa native has recorded 157 match points on the season while maintaining a 17-6 record with nine pins, four decisions, two tech falls and two major decisions. Klingensmith recorded a 2nd place finish at the NCAA DII Super Regional V tournament earlier this month and has claimed two 1st place finishes and another 2nd place finish on the year. The NCAA National Championships will take place at Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kansas March 15th and 16th. Each championship event will consist of rounds — 120 matches during rounds one and two. 90 matches will take place during round three on March 15 followed by 10 matches during the championship finals.
