NEW ORLEANS, LA - The USTFCCCA announced its 2024 Indoor Track & Field All-Region honorees today with multiple Cougars receiving recognition.
The same three Cougars heading to the National Championships this weekend have also been named All-Region by the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Khot Juac,
Tyler Hiatt, and
Emily Swanson were each named All-Region.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams.
Khot Juac received the honor for two events; the Mile and the 3000 Meter Run. Khot will compete in the Mile at nationals where she rnaks 12th.
Emily Swanson also received the honor for two events; the High Jump and the Pentathlon. She will compete in both events at nationals.
Tyler Hiatt received the honor for the Shot Put. He'll attend nationals with the 6th ranked distance in the event.
The championships will be held March 8-9 in Pittsburg, Kansas at the Robert W. Plaster Center. Pittsburg State University and Explore Crawford County will serve as co-hosts of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com.
