BURNSVILLE, MINN. – Kamry Lindsey is named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week by the NSIC. This is USF's third straight honoree for the award.
The Cougars competed at the Red Raider Open this weekend and saw some impressive performances but none were more memorable than
Kamry Lindsey's in the Discus. Lindsey landed a 161' 5" (49.20m) mark that shattered her personal best by 10 feet. The toss registers as the 2
nd best mark in USF history and 4
th in DII this season. At the event it was the top NCAA Division II mark and 2
nd overall while additionally securing Lindsey a National Provisional mark.
The Cougars streak started two weeks ago with
Tyler Hiatt putting on a show in the Shot Put followed by last week's record breaker from
Olivia Baumberger in the Javelin.
USF will compete next at the Drake Relays this weekend in Des Moines, Iowa.
