MANKATO, MN – Day 2 of the NSIC Track & Field Championships took place today with the Cougars putting together some solid performances.
-5 All-Conference Performances-
Micade Shumway claimed the Cougars first All-Conference finish when he placed 3
rd in the 10,000m.
Emily Swanson closed out the Heptathlon with a school record 5264 points in 2
nd place.
Tyler Hiatt then claimed the Cougars first event title as he continued his dominance in the Shot Put, he was the only competitor to break 17 meters.
Samuel Olson then finished in a tie for third in the Pole Vault and
Abbi Webb took 3
rd in the High Jump.
Tamia Horton also broke a school record as her 11.46 in the 100m secured her a spot in the finals tomorrow.

Men - 5th - 26.5
Women - 3rd - 33.5

rd in the Long Jump, 4
th in the Javelin Throw, and 2
nd in the 800m
