EMPORIA, KANSAS – The second day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships took place today with two Cougars competing.
Emily Swanson closed out the Heptathlon with the finals three events, the Long Jump, the Javelin Throw, and the 800m. She finished 13
th, 16
th , and 6
th respectively. With all events completed Swanson totaled 5123 points and finished in 13
th place.
The Cougars other competitor today was
Kamry Lindsey in the Discus Throw. She took 14
th with a throw of 44.26 meters.
Tomorrow
Emily Swanson will compete in the High Jump,
Olivia Baumberger will throw in the Javelin, and
Tyler Hiatt will throw in the Shot Put.
