MANKATO, MN – The USF Track & Field team competed in the second meet in Mankato this week, today.
Emily Swanson set two more records in her stellar 2024 campaign.
The Cougars put together another great meet at the Maverick Open #2 with their second visit to Mankato this week.
Emily Swanson continued her season of record setting performance as she set new marks in the 100m Hurdles at 13.99 seconds and the High Jump at 5' 8". The Women's team placed second with 187 points and the Men's team took 2
nd with 118 points, both were only behind host Mankato.
Event winners:

Mackenzie Everson cleared the finish line with nearly a 4 second lead on the field in the 400m Hurdles (1:07.38)
-
Emily Swanson's record breaking High Jump mark of 1.73m also gave her the event win
-The Long Jump win went to
Emily Swanson as well with a 5.88m mark
-
Ella Steussy took the Triple Jump title with a mark of 11.28m
-Kayla VanOsdel cleared 14m in the Shot Put for the win (14.16m)
-
Olivia Baumberger won the Javelin Throw with a 41.22m launch that netted a provisional mark
-
Denver Decker won the Javelin Throw at 55.89m
