SIOUX FALLS, SD – Last night the Cougars opened the Cross Country season at the Augustana Twilight with some competitive results from both teams.
Khot Juac topped all NSIC Women's participants with a 4
th place finish.
On the Men's side,
Ben Morrison led the Coo with a 17
th place finish that was also the 2
nd highest finish by an NSIC competitor. All USF Men's runners set personal bests at the event in the 4 Mile. As a team the Cougars placed 7
th scoring 242 points with an average time of 19:43.87.

The Women's team took 6
th with an average time of 18:26.82. The Cougars had a consistent showing with all scoring runners finishing no farther back than 81
st out of 375.
Khot Juac picked up where she left off last year and posted another fantastic finish. Juac took 4
th place and bested the closest NSIC competitor by nearly 14 seconds. All USF Women's times in the 5K set new personal bests.
