SIOUX FALLS, SD – Last night the Cougars opened the Cross Country season at the Augustana Twilight with some competitive results from both teams. Khot Juac topped all NSIC Women's participants with a 4^th place finish.
 
On the Men's side, Ben Morrison led the Coo with a 17^th place finish that was also the 2^nd highest finish by an NSIC competitor. All USF Men's runners set personal bests at the event in the 4 Mile. As a team the Cougars placed 7^th scoring 242 points with an average time of 19:43.87.

The Women's team took 6^th with an average time of 18:26.82. The Cougars had a consistent showing with all scoring runners finishing no farther back than 81^st out of 375. Khot Juac picked up where she left off last year and posted another fantastic finish. Juac took 4^th place and bested the closest NSIC competitor by nearly 14 seconds. All USF Women's times in the 5K set new personal bests.
