BROOKINGS, S.D. - The USF track and field team put up an impressive performance at the USD Alumni Meet today. Competing against strong NCAA DI programs, the Cougars demonstrated their talent and grit across multiple events with two broken record performances and three national provisional marks.

In the field events, Tyler Hiatt had another standout weekend with a national provisional mark in both the shot put and weight throw. Hiatt finished second in the shot put with a toss of 17.94m (58'10.25") and third in the weight throw at 19.30m (63' 4"). Hiatt set yet another school record in the weight throw and sits 11th in the country in that event.

USF Track & Field will head to the Mark Schuck Open & Multi at Minnesota State next weekend in Mankato, Minnesota to compete in the two day event.
