BURNSVILLE, Minn. – University of Sioux Falls sophomore forward Addison Van Zee has been named to the All-NSIC Second Team, the league office announced Thursday. The recognition comes after a breakout 2025 campaign in which Van Zee rewrote the Cougar record book and ranked among the top offensive players in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Season Snapshot
Van Zee led Sioux Falls with eight goals, 16 points, and three game-winning scores, starting all 18 matches for the Cougars. Her offensive surge helped USF post its most wins, most goals, and most points in its NCAA Division II era.
The Ham Lake, Minnesota native delivered one of the top single-game performances in the NSIC on September 26 against Minnesota Crookston, recording a hat trick on six shots. Her six-point outing tied for the highest single-game total in the NSIC this season, while her three-goal match also tied for most goals in a game across the conference.
Across the 2025 regular season, Van Zee ranked fifth in the NSIC in total shots (55), 14th in shots on goal (21), eighth in goals (8), and 11th in total points (16) — all while leading the Cougars' attack and appearing in all 18 matches.
Her consistency was unmatched: Van Zee registered at least one shot in every game and logged 1,197 minutes on the pitch — more than double her freshman total.

Van Zee also stands third all-time in career points at USF with 17, just four shy of the program record (21). Her record-setting year marks another milestone for a Sioux Falls side that continues to climb in the NSIC standings and statistical charts.
