INDIANAPOLIS, IND.- Four Cougars entered the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend.
Emily Swanson had a memorable performance in the Pentathlon, taking third place overall and earning herself First-Team All-American honors. Swanson totaled 3940 points in the Pentathlon. In addition, Swanson broke her own record in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.64.
Tyler Hiatt competed in both the Weight Throw and Shot Put at this year's Championships. Hiatt took 13th in the Weight Throw. In Shot Put, Hiatt placed 4th, breaking both a school record and earning himself First-Team All-American Honors.
Also competing at the NCAA Championships were Tamia Horton and Kamry Lindsey. Horton placed 14th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.50. Kamry Lindsey placed 16th in the Weight Throw, with a throw of 17.84m.
