MANKATO, MINN. - USF Track and Field continued their successful week at the Maverick Open #2. Tyler Hiatt records a school record in the hammer throw, while also recording a national provisional mark. McKenna Comstock recorded a national provisional mark of her own in the pole vault.

Women's Highlights

- Mackenzie Everson- Everson finished seventh in the 400m run, with a time of 1:00.41

-Nicole Flynn- Flynn placed fourth in the discus championship, with a throw of 45.14m (148-01). In the shot put, Nicole claims the crown with a mark of 13.71 (44-11.75).

-Kami Wadsworth- Wadsworth picked up two second place finishes for the cougars. In the javelin, she had a throw of 41.57m (136-04). In the discus throw, she had a mark of 41.71m (136-01). 

-Emily Swanson- Swanson placed third in the high jump, with a mark of 1.58m. In the long jump she finished fifth, with a jump of 5.39m. 

-McKenna Comstock- Comstock finishes fourth in the pole vault, with a mark of 3.88m, recording a national provisional mark.

-Tamia Horton- Horton picks up a second place finish in the 100m dash, with a time of 11.92.

-Piper Hanson- Hanson finished fourth in the 100m hurdles, with a time of 15.16. In the 400m hurdles she placed sixth, with a time of 1:07.21.

-Cameen McFarquhar- McFarquahr placed 18th in the 1500m run, with a time of 5:45.02.

- Emma Thomas- Thomas finished ninth in the 800m run, with a time of 2:25.34.

- Kendra Hall- Hall picks up a second place finish i. the triple jump, with a mark of 10.94m.

- Kamry Lindsey- Lindsey finished 15th in the hammer throw, with a mark of 41.88m (137-05).

Men's Highlights

- Denver Decker- Decker claims the title in the javelin throw, with a mark of 50.00m (164-00). 

- Tyler Hiatt- Hiatt takes the title in the hammer throw, with a mark of 60.81m (199-06). Tyler records both a school record and national provisional mark with this throw. Hiatt also finished third in the discus throw championships, with a throw of 51.53m (169-00).

- Collin Dingsor- Dingsor finished sixth in the 400m hurdles, with a time of 56.90. In the 110m hurdles, he placed seventh, with a time 15.36. 

- Brandon Stark- Stark placed seventh in the 200m dash, with a time of 22.06.

- Benjamin Morrison- Morrison picks up a second place finish in the 800m run, with a time of 1:54.60.

- Miles Olofson- Olofson places third in the 1500m run, with a time of 4:09.71.

- Andrew Edwards- Edwards finished fourth in the shot put, with a mark of 15.74m (51-07.75).

- Carter Friske- Friske placed ninth in the 100m dash, with a time of 11.24.

- 4x400mR- Denver Decker, Brandon Stark, Benjamin Morrison and Jonny Cheney finish first, with a time of 3:17.85
