ST. CLOUD, Minn. - The University of Sioux Falls men's wrestling team fell 48–0 to the St. Cloud State Huskies on Friday night in St. Cloud, Minn. The fifth-ranked Huskies claimed all ten bouts, using a mix of falls, technical falls, and decisions to secure the dual.
St. Cloud State opened the dual with momentum at 165 pounds, with an injury default win. The Huskies followed with a first-period fall at 174 and a technical fall at 184 to quickly build separation. Additional technical fall points at 197 and a tight decision at heavyweight pushed the score further in the Huskies' favor heading into the lower weights.
The second half of the dual continued in St. Cloud State's control, highlighted by falls at 125 and 149, along with major and decision victories at 133, 141, and 157. USF battled throughout the lineup but was unable to slow the Huskies' bonus-point production.
An extra match was contested at 165 pounds following the dual.
