ROMEOVILLE, IL/SIOUX CENTER, IA – The University of Sioux Falls Men's and Women's Cross Country ran split squads at two meets - Lewis College Crossover and the Dordt Invite - in Illinois and Iowa on Saturday (Oct. 9). And the results were solid.
"We had good runs by both teams at both competitions in Iowa and Illinois today. They ran hard and continue to make progress as a team which is important as we get prepped for the NSIC Championships on Oct. 23 at Wayne, Neb.," said USF Director of Track and Field/Cross Country
Doug Petersen.
At the Lewis Crossover competition, which included a field of top runners and teams, the Cougars had a number of strong performances. In the men's 8,000-meters race, junior
Aaron Voigt finished 20th in 25:22 as the Cougars took 10
th as a team with 331 points. Also for the men's team
Jakob Hanna placed 55th in 25:57.90 while
David Ecker was 59

Caleb Rivera clocking a 27:16.6 for 137
