BROOKINGS/MANKATO – The USF Track & Field team divided and went to both Brookings, SD and Mankato, MN today to compete in two meets. The SDSU Indoor Classic was held at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. MSU hosted Massive Meet #1 at Myers Field House. 

SDSU Indoor Classic Day 1

·       Khot Juac placed 5th in the women's 3000 meter run breaking the USF school record with a time of 9:52.06. Morgan Gehl finished 12th with a time of 10:12.31.

MSU Massive Meet #1

·      Ben Mandel finished 4th in the men's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.35.

·      Joe Donahue finished 11th in the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 23.16.

·      Zachary Matzner finished 2nd in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 1:58.54. 

·      Jakob Hanna finished 1st in the men's 1 mile run with a time of 4:15.44.

·      Cassidy O'Meara finished 3rd in the women's 800 meter run with a career best time of 2:14.39. Annika Aho placed 7th with a time of 2:23.00.

·      Emily Swanson placed 6th in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.67 meters. 

·      McKenna Comstock placed 4th in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.24 meters.

·      Tyler Hiatt placed 2nd in the men's shot put with a throw of 16.44 meters.

·      Kayla VanOsdel placed 7th in the women's shot put with a throw of 12.76 meters.
