BROOKINGS – The USF Track & Field team headed north to Brookings, SD Saturday afternoon to compete in the Last Chance Meet held at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. The Men's team finished with a score of 136, while the Women finished with 119 points. Both teams took 2nd place out of five teams. 

TRACK EVENTS

·       Emily Swanson finished 4th in the Women's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.88. 

·       Ben Mandel took 1st in the Men's 60 Meter Hurdles with a time of 8.27. Aaron Monk finished 5th with a time of 8.56. 

·       Tamia Horton placed 4th in the Women's 60 Meter Dash with a time of 7.69. 

·       Joe Donahue finished 2nd in the Men's 60 Meter Dash with a time of 6.98. 

·      Jessica Lutmer finished 1st in the Women's 1 Mile with a time of 5:09.13.

·      Benjamin Morrison finished 1st in the Men's 1 Mile with a time of 4:18.21. Right behind was Aaron Voigt in 2nd with a time of 4:18.24. Miles Olofson took 5th with a time of 4:22.69.

·     Zachary Matzner placed 4th in the Men's 600 Meter Run with a time of 1:24.17.

·     Annika Aho finished 1st in the Women's 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:18.56.

·    Cassidy O'Meara finished 1st in the Women's 1000 meter run with a time of 2:53.69. Khot Juac took 3rd with a time of 2:56.22.

·    Caleb Rivera finished 1st in the Men's 1000 meter run with a time of 2:29.98. Miles Olofson took 5th with a time of 2:39.78. 

·   Joe Donahue placed 3rd in the Men's 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.28.

·   Ella Kolb took 4th in the Women's 3000 Meter Run with a time of 10:47.58.  

·   Jakob Hanna placed 2nd in the Men's 3000 Meter Run with a time of 8:31.23. Right behind him was David Ecker in 3rd with a time of 8:37.01.

FIELD EVENTS

·      Tyler Hiatt took 2nd place in the Men's Weight Throw with a career best throw of 18.47 meters. Hiatt also picked up a 2nd place finish in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 16.45 meters.

·       Kamry Lindsey placed 1st in the Women's Weight Throw with a throw of 16.83 meters. Lindsey also took 5th in the Women's Shot Put with a throw of 12.56 meters. 

·       McKenna Comstock placed 4th in the Women's Pole Vault with a height of 3.25 meters. 

·       Natalie Meyers took 2nd in the Women's Long Jump with a distance of 5.46 meters. 

·      Dalton Goodwin took 2nd in the Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 12.87 meters. 

UP NEXT
