MANKATO – The USF Track & Field team competed in Day 2 of the NSIC Championship Meet, held at Myers Field House in Mankato, MN. The women's team finished in 4th place with 64.50 points. The men's team finished in 9th place with 42 points. 

TRACK EVENTS

·      Khot Juac placed 5th in the women's 1 mile run with a career best time of 4:56.89. Morgan Gehl placed 6th with a time of 5:00.50. 

·     Juac placed 2nd in the women's 3000 meter run with a time of 9:55.57. Jessica Lutmer was right behind in 3rd with a career best time of 9:58.31. Gehl finished in 6th with a time of 10:13.19. 

·       Annika Aho finished 4th in the women's 1000 meter run with a career best time of 2:59.80. 

·       Emily Swanson placed 7th in the women's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.98.

·       Swanson placed 2nd overall in the women's pentathlon with a score of 3,771. This is a new USF school record, beating the one she set at the Bearcat Open less than a month ago. 

·       Cassidy O'Meara placed 4th in the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.90. 

·       David Ecker placed 4th in the men's 3000 meter run with a time of 8:31.59.

·       Jakob Hanna placed 6th in the men's 1 mile run with a time of 4:14.83. 

·      Hanna placed 3rd in the men's 1000 meter run with a time of 2:30.80. Caleb Rivera placed 5th with a time of 2:32.42. 

·       Ben Mandel placed 6th in the men's 60 meter hurdles with a career best time of 8.24. 

·       Joe Donahue placed 7th in the men's 60 meter dash with a time of 7.00.

FIELD EVENTS

·       Tyler Hiatt placed 4th in the men's shot put with a throw of 15.66 meters. 

·       Emily Swanson placed 6th in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.65 meters. 

·       Kamry Lindsey placed 6th in the women's weight throw with a throw of 16.72 meters.
