WAVERLY – USF Track & Field wrapped up their first outdoor meet of the season this afternoon. The Cougars competed in Day 2 of the Wartburg Outdoor Select at Walston-Hoover Stadium in Waverly, Iowa. 

TRACK EVENTS

• The USF women's 4x100 meter relay (G. Gioffredi, M. Roggenbuck, N. Meyers, T. Horton) placed 4th with a time of 49.67. 

• David Ecker placed 2nd in the men's 3000 meter steeple with a time of 9:32.70. Close behind was Aaron Voigt with a time of 9:33.94 and a 3rd place finish. 

• Kendall Anderson placed 13th in the women's 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.72.

• Collin Dingsor placed 13th in the men's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.56. 

• Tamia Horton placed 4th in the women's 100 meter dash with a time of 12.37.

• Joseph Donahue placed 7th in the men's 100 meter dash with a time of 11.01. 

• Khot Juac placed 5th in the women's 1500 meter run with a time of 4:37.13. Jakob Hanna placed 2nd in the men's 1500 meter run with a time of 3:55.28. Caleb Rivera took 9th with a time of 4:01.61.

• Cassidy O'Meara placed 2nd in the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:16.06. Annika Aho took 6th with a time of 2:23.50.

• Zach Matzner placed 4th in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.80.

• Sierra Stanton placed 13th in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:10.21.

• Collin Dingsor placed 14th in the men's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 58.08.

• Cody Lustig placed 10th in the men's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 56.71.

• Natalie Meyers placed 2nd in the women's 200 meter dash with a time of 26.04. 

• Joseph Donahue placed 14th in the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 22.85.

• The USF women's 4x400 meter relay team (A. Aho, K. Juac, M. Gehl, C. O'Meara) placed 6th with a time of 4:11.82.

• The USF men's 4x400 meter relay team (Z. Matzner, C. Rivera, B. Morrison, J. Hanna) placed 14th with a time of 3:36.16.

FIELD EVENTS

• Tyler Hiatt placed 3rd in the men's shot put with a throw of 15.52 meters. Dawson Davito placed 12th with a throw of 13.66 meters, close behind was Jaymeson Wolkow in 13th with a throw of 13.60 meters. Cody Egger placed 15th with a throw of 13.01.

• Kamry Lindsey placed 8th in the women's shot put with a throw of 12.58 meters. Kayla VanOsdel placed 11th with a throw of 12.02 meters, Nicole Flynn placed 13th with a 11.78 meters, and Delanie Van Driel placed 14th with a throw of 11.75 meters. 

• Mackenzie Bengtson placed 5th in the women's discus throw with a distance of 40.55 meters. Kamry Lindsey threw for 39.46 meters and took 6th. 

• Tyler Hiatt placed 7th in the men's discus throw with a distance of 49.09 meters. 

• Natalie Meyers placed 2nd in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.64 meters. Abbi Webb took 7th with a jump of 5.30 meters. 

• Abbi Webb placed 8th in the women's high jump with a height of 1.50 meters. 

• Samuel Olson placed 2nd in the men's pole vault with a height of 4.11 meters. Nicholas Cole placed 7th with a height of 3.66 meters. Ean Minnaert placed 10th in a jump of 3.66 meters.
