MANKATO – USF Track & Field traveled to Minnesota to compete at the Maverick Open #1 hosted by MSU-Mankato this afternoon.Â
FIELD EVENTS
- Olivia Baumberger placed 1st in the women's javelin throw with a distance of 47.07 meters. This throw broke both the facility and meet records.
- Carson Hausmann placed 8th in the men's javelin throw with a distance of 37.52 meters.Â
- Kamry Lindsey placed 3rd in the women's discus with a throw of 46.09 meters. Shelby Svien placed 7th with a throw of 41.77 meters. Mackenzie Bengtson placed 8th with a throw of 41.01 meters.
- Tyler Hiatt placed 4th in the men's discus with a throw of 51.36 meters.Â
- Jaymeson Wolkow placed 2nd in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 52.47 meters. Tyler Hiatt placed 5th with a throw of 50.96 meters.
- Mackenzie Bengtson placed 8th in the women's hammer throw with a distance of 46.30 meters.Â
- Dawson Davito placed 8th in the men's shot put with a throw of 14.03 meters.
TRACK EVENTS
- Khot Juac placed 2nd in the women's 1500 meter run with a career best time of 4:26.53.Â
